Modest Mouse are one of those bands who have always appeared to teeter on that precarious line between genius and 'what the hell is this custard junk'. Never quite producing that perfect album and creating the illusion that the songs are a mishmash of noise knocked up on a sunday afternoon. This music video (which has only just come to light) was directed by the late Heath Ledger, which is sure to give it some attention in the coming weeks.
The video is surprisingly dark, with a lets just say 'unique' role reversal. Check out the 'Captain' at 0.56 in the video, hes my favourite character! Why? because hes a badass, cigar smoking captain whale who doesnt take no shit from no-one! Enjoy....
